With me just now posting this review and my Naked Palette review still in the works (whoops did I let that slip?) you guys must feel the need to point out how behind I am on the palette bandwagon. My response? It’s rude to point XP
As you may or may not have noticed, my posts have slowed down a bit in the last week. It’s midterms here in the grand ole’ state of undergraduate studies and I am taking five courses, four of which are marked “Writing Intensive.” What that means, dear readers, is that I’ve been doing 4 Things this week: Sleeping, Eating, Writing and…well…BATHROOM stuff. I haven’t even seen the BF in two weeks x__x
I’m about two papers away from finishing everything up, but was so burnt out on Tuesday that I was prettty sure I was going to go comatose. Then a package arrived from a faraway land (Scotland.) And all was right with the world.
I’m so glad that I wrote this review up a few days ago! Right now I’m in an LSAT class that will go from 10am to 7pm; with only one lunch break. Aaaarg!! It was the same yesterday and will be the same tomorrow. I’m actually wearing a pin-up eye look created almost exclusively win his palette.
It’s been a long time coming but here (finally!) is my review of BH Cosmetic’s 120 Color Palette…3rd edition! For all the Generic Info and for the reasoning behind the packaging score, you can read the 2nd edition’s review here. Like the last review, this will be quite picture heavy as I have provided swatches for each column.
THE DAY HAS COOOOOOOOOOOOOOME
I know a few of you have been waiting for this review. Even I was eager to use this palette as much as possible, in order to get a good feel for it. With the influx of naked/nude/natural palettes, NYX’s Nude on Nude is hailed as the underpriced underdog. I hesitated on this purchase for quite a while but my boyfriend (of all people) finally convinced me to buy it. His enabling is your gain in this reivew!
I have a pretty awesome little sister. Harmony-Phoebe, Harmony for short and sometimes “Grandpa” (don’t ask) is not a makeup kind of gal. Though she looks fabulous with it on she’s a lot more dedicated to studies and gaming than she is to flaunting her gorgeous looks. That doesn’t stop her from supporting my makeup addiction though! As a “Happy-This-Crappy-Semester-Is-Over” gift she purchased my first large eyeshadow palette, BH Cosmetic’s 120 Color Palette (2nd Edition.) At the same time I purchased the 3rd edition, but this review will focus on my baby sis’ gift to me!
