I was hesitant to purchase this. Not only did I “recently” (make-up time) purchase the original Naked, but it seemed so excessive to have both the original and the sequel neutral eyeshadow phenom. But, this was my second birthday gift from my youngest sister Harmony and I have to admit – there’s a lot to say for this baby. Let’s get started! And of course, expect a picture heavy post. Oh! I will be refraining from comparing this to Naked 1 from here on – as I’ve got a comparison post in the works and we don’t want to overwhelm you now do we?
I can hear the boo-hissing already. I knoooooooow I knoooooooow. I’m the last person in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE to review this palette. The hilarity is that I already have my review for its’ sequel, Naked 2 written up as well. School is clearly a conspiracy to keep me from posting these reviews at a reasonable rate I tell you!
Be warned, I went a little camera happy for this product.
I questioned writing this review at all – after all, I’m sure most people who’ve approached a makeup counter have tried this product once or twice. But I hadn’t at the time, nor did I think to look up reviews before immediately agreeing to buy it (I was having a rough day!) So I’m adding my two cents to this $15USD mascara’s lengthy history.
CoverGirl’s LashBlast Volume Mascara was included in Allure’s The Best in Beauty Allure Award-Winners Gift Set (sold at Wal-Mart for $15USD originally and down to $10USD now.) I’ll admit, this and the free subscription to Allure Magazine were the reason I picked up the set. This mascara has gotten so much love on the beauty blog-o-sphere that I am not sure it can handle yet another positive review. So i’ll leave you in suspense as to whether or not i’ll love it or leave it to force you to keep reading! Woo!
By now, you’ve all seen the wave of mini wand mascaras out there. Some of you might think they’re a gimmick, some of you might be cautiously curious and the rest have probably already purchased one! In this post i’ll be reviewing one of the more affordable miniature wonder options, Maybelline’s Great Lash – Lots of Lashes mascara!
